{"id":1924,"date":"2017-11-13T20:49:58","date_gmt":"2017-11-13T20:49:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cisss-at.gouv.qc.ca\/aide-financiere-pour-le-transport-des-usagers\/"},"modified":"2026-04-28T09:08:37","modified_gmt":"2026-04-28T13:08:37","slug":"financial-assistance-passenger-transportation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cisss-at.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/financial-assistance-passenger-transportation\/","title":{"rendered":"Financial Assistance for Passenger Transportation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>For patients who need to travel outside the region to receive medical care and services<\/h2>\n<p>The financial assistance program is for users of the Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue health and social services network who must travel outside the region, at the request of their physician, to receive health care and social services not available in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue.<\/p>\n<p>This program stems from the Politique de d\u00e9placement des usagers du r\u00e9seau de la sant\u00e9 et des services sociaux du Qu\u00e9bec (policy on travelling expenses for users of Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s health and social services network). It offers financial assistance to users, but does not reimburse all travelling and accommodation expenses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To be eligible, the user must:<\/li>\n<li>be a Qu\u00e9bec resident;<\/li>\n<li>have received a medical prescription from a physician in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue for health or social services not available in the region and\/or within the required timeframe;<\/li>\n<li>travel to a Qu\u00e9bec health and social services institution more than 200 km away from the institution in Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue where they usually receive their basic care and services;<\/li>\n<li>travel to an institution that can provide the required care and services and is nearest to the institution they usually visit;<\/li>\n<li>travel for care and services covered by the R\u00e9gie de l\u2019assurance maladie du Qu\u00e9bec (RAMQ).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>For details on the financial allocation terms, please download the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisss-at.gouv.qc.ca\/partage\/AIDE-FINANCIERE\/DSPEUPC-190_096-10B_FORM_reclamation_frais_deplacement_sejours_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claim form<\/a> and complete it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For patients who need to travel outside the region to receive medical care and services The financial assistance program is for users of the Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue health and social services network who must travel outside the region, at the request of &hellip;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":47,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-1924","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.2 -
