The Day Centre is part of the Home Support Program and is made up of an interdisciplinary team.<\/p>\n<h3>Its mission<\/h3>\n<p>Maintaining biopsychosocial autonomy through preventive and therapeutic group activities by promoting an approach centred on the participant's abilities, interests and strengths.<\/p>\n<h3>Clientele<\/h3>\n<p>Person living at home living with a loss of autonomy related to aging, both in terms of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Physics;<\/li>\n<li>Cognitive;<\/li>\n<li>Social.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Allow the person to maintain their abilities and help them live with their disabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Counter isolation.<\/li>\n<li>Promote overall health.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Exclusion Criteria<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A person requiring ongoing assistance.<\/li>\n<li>Incontinence not managed by the person.<\/li>\n<li>Behavioral problem.<\/li>\n<li>Person admitted to intermediate resources or CHSLDs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<table style=\"height: 76px; width: 792px;\" title=\"Day Centre\">\n<tbody>\n<tr style=\"height: 32.1875px;\">\n<td style=\"width: 86px; height: 32.1875px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-1726\" src=\"https:\/\/www.cisss-at.gouv.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/INFORMATION.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"58\" height=\"61\" \/><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 690px; height: 32.1875px;\">However, each application will be evaluated by the Day Centre's interdisciplinary team.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What is the Day Centre?
