Following an evaluation, the child and their parents could be directed to the appropriate services at the<em> CISSS de l\u2019Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue<\/em> or to other agencies based on their situation. <\/p>\n<h3>Available services<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Speech therapy (language);<\/li>\n<li>Occupational therapy (fine-motor skills) and physiotherapy (fine-motor skills);<\/li>\n<li>Psychoeducation and special education;<\/li>\n<li>Nutrition services;<\/li>\n<li>Nursing care;<\/li>\n<li>Support in daycare centres.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Please note that certain services are not available everywhere on the CISSS de l'Abitibi-T\u00e9miscamingue territory. Find out from the services centre nearest you.<\/em> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Youth 0 to 19 years old<\/h3>\n<p>We offer assistance and support adapted to children and adolescents with health-related needs or who are living with personal problems, social habilitation problems, mental health issues or addictions. (Ex: Alcohol, drugs, gambling)<\/p>\n<p>Services are also available for strained parent-child relationships or family crisis.<\/p>\n<p>Our professionals can evaluate the situation and intervene with the child, the adolescent and the parents. Adolescents can receive individual help if they wish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Available services<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Psychosocial evaluation and follow-up services offered at home, at school or at the services centre;<\/li>\n<li>Family crisis intervention services and intensive follow-up in the community;<\/li>\n<li>Rehabilitation services for children and adolescents with behavior problems in their natural environment;<\/li>\n<li>Intervention services for trans gender youth or for those who are seeking answers;<\/li>\n<li>Support services for youth with mental health problems and for their families;<\/li>\n<li>Child and adolescent psychiatry;<\/li>\n<li>Resident rehabilitation services for youth with behavior problems;<\/li>\n<li>Counseling and referral to appropriate services;<\/li>\n<li>Intervention and preparation for transitioning into adulthood;<\/li>\n<li>Foster care services for children 0 to 17 years of age.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>To obtain these services<\/h3>\n<p>All parents, children and adolescents can make a request for services.\u00a0Adolescents aged 14 and more have to right to have their request treated confidentially and without parental consent.
