Blood Tests and Other Samples

Services Offered

The collection centres take blood samples. This is also the place where you should bring the samples that your doctor has taken (throat, cytology, vaginal swabs, etc.) or that you have collected yourself (urine, sputum, stool, etc.)

These results will be used to guide the diagnosis or treatment of patients.

Important

  • You will have to verbally identify yourself to the staff taking your sample with your name and date of birth;
  • The specimen collection centre does not give any test results. Only your doctor or other provider is authorized to do so;
  • Instructions for certain analyses and containers for specimen collection are provided by area staff;
  • Make sure that your request is properly identified and completed in order to avoid a refusal;
  • Show up at the exact time of your appointment;
  • It is important to check if any particularities are applicable to the prescribed tests;
  • Please choose your appointment based on these;
  • At your appointment, have your health insurance card, your request (if applicable) and your hospital card (up-to-date information) on hand.
  • We remind you that at all times, respect is required for employees and other users.
