Accessibility online and in the facilities

- Interpreter services - To obtain the services of an interpreter, speak with your doctor or staff when scheduling an appointment.-
- Service navigators and liaison officer - In order to support and accompany Indigenous people in their care and service experience and promote mutual understanding of the information exchanged between caregivers and patients, there is a resource available in Val-d'Or.

Medical imaging (radiology and nuclear medicine)
Medical imaging consists of examinations conducted in radiology and in nuclear medicine. These examinations assist your doctor in reaching a diagnosis.
Appointment
All examination requisitions must be prescribed and signed by a doctor or nurse practitioner. No appointment will be given without your examination requisition.
If your examination requisition was sent directly from your doctor’s office to the medical imaging department, the secretary will call you with an appointment time.
However, if your doctor gives you the examination requisition, you must take it directly to the radiology and nuclear medicine department.
- Your personal information and details as well as the telephone number where you can be reached at all times must be included on the examination requisition.
- You must always have your valid health insurance card with you otherwise fees will be applicable.
- Have your hospital card with you at examination time.

- Your date of birth;
- Your health insurance card;
- Your hospital card.
