Domestic and Family Violence

Are you experiencing a crisis? Help is available.

Domestic violence is characterized by a series of repetitive acts that generally occur in an escalating pattern. It includes psychological, verbal, physical, and sexual abuse, as well as acts of economic domination. It does not stem from a loss of control but, on the contrary, is a deliberate means of dominating the other person and asserting power over them.

For all emergencies, dial 911.
